The Malaysian Insider
is the brainchild of seasoned journalist Png Hong Kwang and Sreedhar Subramaniam, the former chief operating officer of ntv7. Both aimed to create an Internet newspaper which offers an unvarnished take on events and personalities in Malaysia. The website is now led by Jahabar Sadiq , who was formerly with Reuters Television.
